The Side Mount Hidden Bracket is the go to bracket in a pinch. Your price is Only $32.95!

The Side Mount Hidden Bracket

We built this one for the floating countertop style jobs that are becoming more popular.

*To tell which side is Left or Right look from the back end of the Countertop Bracket (The Flat End) and then the angle is placed on the side you choose, Left on the left side and Right on the right side of the bracket (looking from the back)

The Side Mount Hidden Bracket is made to fit and attach to a cabinet when you have no knee wall to attach to. This bracket can be attached to the studs inside of walls and then sheet rocked over to make for a very nice way to have a granite shelf running along the wall.

The Side Mount Hidden Bracket is made from 2 different pieces welded together to create a bracket of hard rolled steel that is great for supporting countertops. One piece is the "Angle" or the "drop down" and it sits on the side of the supporting bracket. (You need to choose a side when ordering; Left or Right) This is the part that is usually the part that connects to your structure, like a cabinet or island box frame.

The Side Mount Hidden Bracket is unique in that it has an Angle welded on to the side of the Hidden Bracket allowing for a different way to mount the Hidden Bracket.

To tell if the Bracket is a Sided Side Mounted Bracket you look from the rear of the Bracket and see that the Angle is on the side.

The Side Mount Hidden Bracket Specs:

The first part of the bracket is just a Standard Hidden Bracket and can very in length 7” to 21” or Customized Sizing.

The second part of the Side Mount Hidden Bracket  is the Vertical Drop Down Anchor. This is a vertical plate that drops down 4.5 inches to make a second point on contact on the structure that will be used to hold up the floating countertop

Countertop Support Bracket - Floating Inside Wall Mount for countertops, vanities, shelves and benches.

Floating Countertop Support Bracket

The perfect bracket for floating countertops, vanities, shelves, benches and more.

When ordering please consider the following

  • When selecting a size the measurement of the bracket will be "tip to tip" - the total length of the bracket.
  • Three inches of the bracket will be inside the wall mounted to the stud.
  • These brackets require a wooden stud. If your installation is on metal studs you will need to install wood blocking that extends from the floor to at least 24" above the top of the bracket flange.
  • We recommend a 3-4 inch set back from the edge of the top so a 20" top would require a 20" - 21" bracket.
  • A "right-side" flange will mount on the left side of the stud - conversely a "left-hand" flange will mount on the right side of the stud.
  • Choosing the “Universal” option allows you to mount the bracket on either side of the stud. However, the beveled edge at the end of the bracket has been eliminated as a trade-off.

The Floating Wall Mount Countertop Support Bracket is the perfect hidden support bracket for floating heavy, solid surface materials such as granite or quartz directly off a floor-to-ceiling wall. We see these brackets used to float everything from granite countertops, vanities, hardwood desks, glass shelves, etc.

The Floating Wall Mount Support comes in lengths up to 22 inches long with a 8 inch vertical flange. The vertical flange has six 1/4 inch mounting holes and attaches directly to the side of the stud. We include six #12 lag screws with the product. NOTE: Bracket lengths are a tip-to-tip measurement so approx. 3 - 4 inches of the bracket will be sitting behind the drywall when installed. To get the correct size bracket for your project order the bracket length that matches the depth of the granite. For example, if you are installing a 20" deep vanity, order a 20" bracket.

If you need to remove sheet rock in order to mount you brackets you can easily patch the sheet rock with a "quick patch" kit available at your local hardware store.

In the image below you can see one of our customers and his contractor both testing out the brackets ;)
